CAROLYN AND JON'S DELICATE DAISIES INSPIRED WEDDING AT STEVENSON RIGE

Carolyn of Carolyn Thombs Makeup Artistry and Design is one of the area's most amazing bridal hair and makeup artists, she is just truly wonderful. I was so honored when she asked us to design a whimsical wedding for her and Jon at Stevenson Ridge in Spotsylvania, Virginia. She love including daisies, a dainty flower we see all around at florists and supermarket, it's not a very expensive flower, but had so much meaning to her. Jon, her then fiancé will bring them to her as a gift often, what a sweet thing! So our task was to elevate this sweet bloom into a design that was formal, elegant, vintage and posh at the same time.

To achieve the perfect look we mix the delicate daisies with tons of summer blooms including dahlias, Veronica, scabiosa and added stock flowers, ranunculus, lisianthus with lavender touches and clematics in lavender - her accent color, and greenery.

Daisies were added to her centerpieces, designed in a fun mix of vintage vases and containers she had collected for a year.
